CRAFTCOTE-CEN
|
Insulating coating
|
CRAFTCOTE
CEN is recommended for all C.I. Casting. It can be applied by
dipping / brushing application. Thick coating to be applied to get
good insulating effect. The insulating property of coating reduces
the solidification rate of metal. Recommended for reducing the
chilling / hardening of metal at thin section wall casting.
After
applying coating air dry it for 10 to 20 minutes and then dry in
oven at 150C
to
160
C
for min. 20 minutes or by torching

CRAFTCOTE-CEN(M)
|
Centrifugal dicasting coating
|
Clean
the die and blow air to remove foreign material and dust. Stir
the coating and dilute it by ratio 100:5 to 100:10 ( i.e. product
: water). Apply by spraying on hot die (at die temperature 150
C to 180
C) and coat up to 1mm thickness. If thickness is not achieved in
one spray, apply again. Keep the die rotating while spraying
CRAFTCOTE CEN (M), so as to get uniform coating
thickness. Now pour the casting.
After
removing casting, again clean the die surface and apply coating by
same
procedure.

CRAFTCOTE-SN
|
Special
Inoculation Coating
|
Apply
CRAFTCTOE - SN as it is on sand mould core by brushing. If the
permeability of sand is more then we recommend to have a precoat
with zircon or other mixed refractory water based coating. Dry the
coating and then apply CRAFTCOTE- SN. Dry it oven at 120
C for 1 hr. Ensuring removal of moisture from the coating. Mould/
Core is then ready for pouring. Do not apply and other coating on
CRAFTCOTE- SN.

CRAFTCOTE-TE
|
SPECIAL CHILLING COAT
|
1) CRAFTCOTE - TE is to be applied
as it is by brushing or swabbing after uniform
mixing. If required coating can
be further diluted with water in case thinner coating
consistency is needed.
2) Mould or core should be
thoroughly dried before pouring the metal. (Do not heavily
torchh the coating) .
3) Whenever double coating is
required take care that the previous coat is thoroughly
air dried.
